A group exhibition bringing together twelve artists from different regions of Brazil, weaving relations between territories, traditional knowledge and contemporary techniques, the limits of matter and its uses. The curatorial premise understands the artistic process and the artwork less as an act of shaping materialities through discourse, and more as an exercise of listening and resonance through matter, according to its agency, information and trans-historicity. The same enquiry unfolds in Mystery Tongues, in the section A Conspiracy of Icons, through the work of Guyanese artist Donald Locke.
